Neil is a writer from County Mayo. He has won a number of prizes for short fiction and his debut novel, The Visit, was published in March of this year and was an Irish Times bestseller. He has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Limerick and lives in Cork with his wife, where he works as a dentist.
