The ROLLING SUN BOOK FESTIVAL, set in Westport, County Mayo, is a quirky boutique festival that indulges bookworms & connoisseurs of music, song and poetry. Set in the shadow of ancient spiritual mountain, Croagh Patrick, it evokes the many layers of Irish culture in the best bardic and poetic traditions.
The 2022 festival runs from Thursday 3rd November to Sunday 6th November, and features a great line-up of local, national and international authors with a range of events planned for over the four days.

Highlights include bestselling author Kit de Waal, three of Ireland's best crime writers, Mary Reynolds the visionary behind Westport Estate Gardens will launch her new book "We are the Ark", Flor MacCarthy author of The Presidents’ Letters, An Unexpected History of Ireland, will be joined by a lively panel of journalists and commentators including RTE news presenter David McCullagh, award-winning columnist Justine McCarthy, journalist and author Martina Devlin, and journalist and regular visitor to the Rolling Sun, Lise Hand
